You have a right to life granted by your Maker. Therefore, it's self-evident you also have a right to defend your life. All gun laws turn your natural right into a privilege. If you truly care about your natural rights, your freedoms, then you should oppose every form of gun control. If you use the brain your Creator gave you, then realize no law of any kind in the history of humanity has ever once made a criminal suddenly follow the law.
When you truly understand your rights are inherit from your Maker, then you understand America has been under tyranny for a long long time now. Man's laws are for those who reject self-evident Divine Law. No, I'm not talking about your Bible, your Quran, or whatever. It's very self-evident throughout our universe.
Anyways, I used to have this video linked on this blog. Maybe I still do, I didn't think to even check. So, I was thinking about guns and thought I'd post it again. As you can see I then began ranting, because the whole thing gets me fired up.
Bottom line, use the brain your Creator gave you.
Let me make one last point. THE SECOND AMENDMENT DOES NOT GIVE YOU ANY STINKING RIGHT!!! Seriously, do you understand me? I'm sick of hearing it. Your Maker, and only your Maker gave you all your rights. The Constitution was a document designed to govern the government, but YOU HAVE TO ENFORCE IT!!! The Constitution has nothing to do with YOU. It was not written to govern We the People. Your not even a party to it!
Seriously, some people in the freedom movement worship the constitution like an idol. It makes me sick! Okay, okay, I'm done now...

There's one thing GWB and I agree on: it's just a goddamn piece of paper.

But even if it did: mistakes are human.
One little item here is, that the anti-gun lobby, while used to disarm the people and lessen their capacity for resistance, are right about safety.
ReplyDeleteViolent death in the US is way higher than in Europe. Also, because people are armed, the cops have a good excuse, and actually reason, to behave as total maniacs when approaching the public.
It's very uncommon to be manhandled by the cops in NW Europe. But even a parking ticket can get you facing a gun an thrown to the ground here. It's because the cops are scared for the guns.
So freedom in this case has a price. The idea that criminals are the only ones to have guns does have merit, but the 15k violent deaths is 3, 4 or even 5 times the European average.

ReplyDeleteNo, I don't think police have any excuse for their behavior, other than it's how they've been trained militarily to react towards the general public. They didn't always behave this way, and American's have held firearms for hundreds of years now.
The violence you're referring too in the U.S is more to do with the thug culture, and rejection of morality and God, in my opinion.
